SCHOOL CLOSED TODAY 02.11.23

Good morning everyone, 

 

I've been given the message from the Link Academy this morning that all schools within our Academy are to close due to storm Ciaran. 

 

The decision to close the school was not one taken lightly as I it inevitably causes disruption. Equally, it's always important to be sure that school isn't closing unnecessarily. 

 

It's been decided that due to the sheer volume of rainfall we had overnight and poor conditions that it could prove dangerous for many to journey to school. We'd rather be cautious and ensure the safety of our school community.
